Ah, the never-ending treasure trove that is Ebay. This one shows ONE photograph of only THE BACK of the camera and a title that simply states that it is a "weird film camera."
Digging deeper shows that the camera was from a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
All this could be yours for a mere $300, or you could put on your hagglin' hat and make an offer.
From what I see, it's a Pentax as is evidenced by the "Asahi Optical Co." engraving, but who can ID what it is?
Why didn't the seller take a photo of the front?
WHAT'S SO WEIRD ABOUT IT?
We may never know.

Film Photography Paideia 2019: Analog Talk Podcast LIVE in San Clemente, California
This past March 2nd and 3rd in San Clemente, California, over 150 film enthusiasts were hosted by The Darkroom at the 2nd annual Film Photography Paideia: an event gathering enthusiasts, professionals, and industry names to talk about and be inspired by film. The event sold out in under 70 hours according to The Darkroom's Philip Steblay and they plan to hold the event annually.
The crew at Analog Talk held a live podcast discussion with the speakers of the event, including Matt Day, Michael Raso and Mat Marrash from The Film Photography Project, Megan Barrett, Raquel and Juan Martinez of Beers of Cameras, Jonathan Paragas, Michael Bain of Ilford Photo, Trev Lee of The Darkroom, with MC duties carried by the one and only Take Kayo of BigHeadTaco.

In my photographic process, scanning film has always been the most the most tedious process and always the bottleneck.

T-Max P3200 is Confirmed By Kodak to Be Returning
IT'S BACK!
In a Tweet early this morning, Kodak confirmed the return of T-MAX P3200, a high-ISO black and white negative film.
The tweet didn't offer any other details about schedule, pricing and availability, but a press release with more details can be found at EMULSIVE.ORG.
I'm personally happy to hear this news as this is a film stock I've never shot myself, having grown up with and stuck with color negative most of my photographic life.
Good on Kodak for seeing the market trend and bringing back a well-loved emulsion, I can't wait to shoot it!
